Woodcutting
About this skill
To start: take an axe to an ordinary tree, like the ones at Hearthford Landing, and choose Fell. You start with a bronze axe, and Wilf's Woodsman Axes in Hearthford sells them for 21 coins.
Any axe chops any tree you have the level for; better axes chop faster and ask for a Woodcutting level. Logs feed Firemaking, and Crafting turns them into arrow shafts and bows.
